Carole’s BBQ sauce

2 cups ketchup |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
|
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon onion powder |
|
1/ cup vinegar |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
|
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
splash soy sauce |
|
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
splash Worchestershire sauce |
|
2-3 thick lemon slices |
|
|
Combine all in sauce pan, bring to boil, then simmer for 30 minutes or so. Remove lemon slices before using.

Crock Pot BBQ Ribs

Ingredients |

|
3 lb. baby back ribs |
1/4 cup liquid smoke |
|
1 tsp. sugar |
1 bottle barbecue sauce with onions |
|
1/4 cup water |
1 tsp. garlic powder |
|
Preparation: Cut ribs into sections & place in bottom of crock pot. Mix together sugar, garlic. powder, water, & liquid smoke. Add to crock pot. Cook on low heat for 8 hours. Add Barbecue sauce & cook 2 more hours.
